Avian and Exotic Hospitalization

Avian and Exotic Hospitalization

We have a dedicated team of professionals assigned exclusively to provide care to your hospitalized patient. These professionals are well versed and trained in avian and exotic care so you special pet is in very good hands. In addition, we have invested in a special avian/exotic housing that provides thermal support, hiding options and oxygen therapy for our special exotic patients.  Unlike most veterinary hospitals, our hospital team is focused exclusively on our hospitalized patients, allowing them to provide a level of care unequaled by the average veterinary hospital. Our newly designed hospital contains a dedicated hospitalization space to allow our patients a calm and quiet space to recover under the watchful eye of our hospital team. Our hospital nurses are focused 100% on the care and well being of our hospitalized patients and work closely with the attending DVM to provide responsive and proactive care. Our team monitors our hospitalized patients hourly and is focused on identifying any changes of condition or behavior that could allow the doctor to better treat our patients. We focus on providing a comfortable stay including soft beds, calming music and plenty of TLC. Our team will be 100% focused on caring for your pet in their time of need. As Your Vet for Life, our hospital team is dedicated to healing and helping.

Exotic pets with a strong veterinarian-patient relationship will benefit from better overall health and improved disease control.  We encourage exotic pet parents to establish a relationship with us early in their pet’s life, before an emergency necessitates a visit.  We have an experienced exotic veterinarian on call 7 days a week for exotic pets established with us as clients. As part of our lifetime commitment to our established exotic pet parents, in the evenings and on Saturday and Sunday we prioritize established exotic pet patients if capabilities are limited.   Therefore, establishing and maintaining the relationship with us is important for your exotic pet.
