In addition to being one of the largest veterinary practices in the region, WPV is home to our exciting Doggie PlayCamp!
When we designed Doggie PlayCamp, we wanted to offer a home away from home where your pup could be safe while enjoying human companionship and playtime with other dogs. Doggie daycare has the added plus of keeping your dogs engaged throughout the day. Contrast that with having to work through the aftermath of separation anxiety, digging, and chewing that can happen when they’re left home alone for the day.
As a WPV client, you can enroll your furry friend in Doggie PlayCamp, where your pup can play to his heart’s content, safely matched with other dogs of similar temperament and size. Our trained counselors carefully monitor every playgroup, and no playgroup is ever left unattended.
What makes our Doggie PlayCamp so darn special? Well, that’s easy.
* We’re centrally located in Winter Park between I-4 and 17-92.
* It’s hot in Central Florida (if you hadn’t noticed). Still, our PlayCamp has a large, fully air-conditioned indoor play area as well as multiple outdoor play yards that are perfect for romping, spinning, and lounging in turtle pools with friends.
* Doggie PlayCamp is wonderful for socializing dogs of all ages, helping them learn to safely interact with and enjoy the company of other pooches.
* We offer fun-filled, enriching play days for our Campers, but we also ensure they have regular nap times to recharge and get ready for more time with their friends.
* PlayCamp offers daily prices as well as packages. Ask one of our Client Advocates about choices that will meet every need. Pricing is also on the website www.WPVet.net. Reservations are highly recommended.
* Perhaps most important, Doggie PlayCamp is located within the WP Veterinary Hospital campus. This enables us to provide everything your dog needs to stay happy and healthy through their play day. Additionally, our veterinarians and vet techs are onsite to immediately provide care should it be required.
So far, so good? Listen to this. We also have a variety of Doggie PlayCamp Daily Special Events! There’s Water Day, where we put out lounging pools, hanging misting walls, “catch the hose” games, and ice treats. And boy, do the pups love it! After a good towel down or optional bath, it’s usually time for a downtime nap.
We offer Live Sessions several times a week where you can watch your furry family member race and play in real-time via the internet. It’s a real favorite of our pet parents! There are Birthday celebrations with homemade b-day cakes made by our Counselors. There are quite a few photos on the PlayCamp website.
But it’s Bubble Day that really brings out sheer delight and the goofiest excitement in our PlayCampers. Just rolling out the bubble machine starts the entertainment!
Our PlayCampers get exercise, love, scratches, smooches, play with new and old friends, and great mental stimulation.
