Although we’ve grown, Winter Park Veterinary Hospital remains owned and operated by the same family who started the practice. That’s unusual in a time where many clinics have been bought up by private equity. Modern founder, Dr. Hess, has passed the torch to his son Billy, a lifelong animal lover who practically grew up in the clinic and remains committed to continuing the Winter Park Vet family story. We feel it’s important that we, not corporate interests, continue to guide the growth of our modern practice in a direction to better serve our patients — from routine care to diagnostics, advanced medicine, alternative therapies and pet wellness. WPVH delivers services with an empathic approach and designs our care protocols through your pet’s eyes to minimize stress during treatment. We strive to make our patients and pet parents feel like part of Winter Park Veterinary Hospital’s extended family — and we want to be your vet for life.
